When Pacquiao vs Mayweather was reported to have failed last week, I’m sure that options for Pacman already came to view for Bob Arum, the promoter of Top Rank fights of Manny Pacman Pacquiao. One of those options was to fight against the undefeated junior middleweight champion Yuri Foreman. But even that seemed almost impossible to think of as a match as the undefeated champ is way too big and too heavy for Pacquiao to fight and try to snatch his 8th title in 8 different weight divisions.
Just now, in the news at ABS-CBN channel 2, it was announced that Bob Arum has finally found the perfect match for Pacman. It is also announced that in March 2010, it will be a Pacquiao vs Clottey. Joshua Clottey as I can remember just lost via a decision against Miguel Cotto where many boxing fans and aficionados believe Clottey won. But let’s forget about that because the announcement just came that Pacquiao is willing to fight against the pride of Ghana boxer and so it must come down to it on March. Let’s see what happens next.
