It is confirmed that Edu Manzano will run for vice president in he upcoming 2010 Philippine election alongside with Gilbert “Gibo” Teodoro. According to the news tonight at ABS-CBN Edu is running because he is promised by sec. Puno that all the campaign needs will be shouldered by the administration party.
Although Edu did not actually say that this is his primary reason, the former OMB (Optical Media Board) chairman said that he has learned his lesson the last time that he had to sell even his house just to be able to finance his candidacy in Makati where the actor lost.
If we try to analyze the motive of Edu with his running on the side of Gibo Teodoro, in my opinion, I personally don’t like the sound that he is running because the administration party will shoulder the campaign expenses. What about you, what do you think of Edu?
