Pag Ibig Calamity Loan

Are you a victim of typhoon Ondoy calamity? Are you a Pag-Ibig Fund member? This is your chance to apply for Pag Ibig calamity loan. It was announced all over the news yesterday that the office of Pag-Ibig Fund has allotted for all typhoon Ondoy victims a specific funding for loan application. Download the calamity loan application form at the Pag-Ibig Fund website – www.pagibigfund.gov.ph/

A tip or two might help you from me here at Love Philippines blog. First, chances are you will need to have a proof of residence to apply for the loan. Secure a barangay clearance duly signed by your zone and district barangay chairman. Pag-Ibig Fund though had their own set of requirements in order for a member to apply for a loan.

  1. filing must be within 90 days of calamity occurrence
  2. 24 months amortization (after grace period of 5 months)
  3. 10.75% per annum
  4. renewable when a new calamity occurs
  5. up to 80% of the Total Accumulated Value (TAV) of member savings
  6. members with existing MPLs, loan balance shall be deductem from proceeds of calamity loan
  7. member must have made at least 24 monthly contributions
