When Pacquiao vs Mayweather was reported to have failed last week, I’m sure that options for Pacman already came to view for Bob Arum, the promoter of Top Rank fights of Manny Pacman Pacquiao. One of those options was to fight against the undefeated junior middleweight champion Yuri Foreman. But even that seemed almost impossible to think of as a match as the undefeated champ is way too big and too heavy for Pacquiao to fight and try to snatch his 8th title in 8 different weight divisions. Although it is not yet confirmed, we might have a Manny Pacquiao vs Yuri Foreman in March 2010. At least that’s what the controversies of the Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight is leading the promoters to. The reason? Its because of reports on the nonsense demands of Floyd Mayweather that both fighters go for a drug test first. In a video interview with Bob Arum, the boxing promoter seem to speak as if the Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight is a deal. But it seems that there were a few more loose ends to polish before this mega fight pushes through. I even heard that Pacquiao vs Mayweather tickets were already for reservation but of course that is not a confirmed buzz.
Going back to the video interview update of Bob Arum, the boxing promoter speaks of an agreement that there will be 50-50 share for both fighters. When both parties agreed, I thought that the fight is already on in March 2010 but it seems that Pacquiao today is planning to sue a case against some people in the camp of Mayweather from a news I read today at Yahoo Buzz.
